After the match, De Vrij gave an interview to Sky Sport Italia

After Inter Milan's 1-0 last-minute victory over Young Boys in the third round of the Champions League group stage, Stefan de Vrij spoke to Sky Sport Italia.

"The brilliance of this victory lies in the fact that we believed we could win until the very end, and in the end, we succeeded. We had other scoring opportunities, and if we review the match, we won’t be satisfied with our performance, especially in the first half. We played poorly, and both the pitch and our opponents caused us trouble. But in any case, taking three points is a good result," said De Vrij.

Was the poor performance more due to the pitch or the opponent?
"The way the ball bounced was different from what we’re used to, and it was faster. I think you could see during the game that it was somewhat different."

With Carlos Augusto injured, how will you prepare for the match against Juventus? Are you feeling fatigued?
"It’s unfortunate that Carlos (Augusto) got injured today, but we’ll go into the game against Juventus with a strong desire to win and confidence, and we’ll aim to put in an excellent performance. Of course, we’ll fight for the victory."

Is the match against Juventus a direct battle for the title?
"It’s still too early to talk about that, but we’re both strong teams, and every match will be difficult."
