Dudek: Urbanski would feel great at Liverpool

Liverpool legend Jerzy Dudek praised Bologna midfielder Urbanski in an interview with Polish media outlet Super Express, stating that the Polish international has the ability to play for Liverpool.

Dudek, who helped Liverpool win the Champions League, recently watched his former club face Bologna in the tournament. During the match, he had the chance to assess the performances of two Polish players on Bologna's team, including Urbanski.

Urbanski performed impressively against Liverpool and came close to scoring. Dudek spoke highly of his compatriot, saying, "We have been talking about him a lot lately. He is a technical player who feels good when the ball is at his feet."

Dudek expressed his desire for Urbanski to join Liverpool: "In my opinion, he would feel great at a club like Liverpool, where many players play well in tight spaces. Clearly, he fits the style of play that Slot requires, as he has shown with the national team. However, Bologna plays a different style, and he hasn't had that much playing time yet, which is a big issue for him. He needs to have enough confidence and selfishness to surpass his competitors and earn a position at the club similar to what he has with the national team."

So far this season, Urbanski has made five appearances for Bologna and scored one goal. The 20-year-old midfielder's current contract runs until next summer but includes an option for an extension.
