Argentina's head coach Scaloni is considering calling up a player as a replacement
In the 9th round of the South American World Cup Qualifiers, Venezuela will face Argentina. According to TyC Sports, due to the injuries of Nicolas Gonzalez and Paulo Dybala, Argentina's head coach Lionel Scaloni is considering calling up a player as a replacement.
With Nicolas Gonzalez and Dybala sidelined by injuries, Argentina might call up another player as a substitute. Scaloni's current plan is to call up just one player for emergency cover rather than two. Potential replacements for Nicolas Gonzalez could be Castellanos, Suhl, or Giuliano Simeone.
Despite carrying an injury, Alexis Mac Allister is not expected to be left out of the squad. The Argentine coaching staff will closely monitor his condition during the initial training sessions to determine whether he will need to rest for the match against Venezuela.
