According to renowned journalist Matteo Moretto, AC Milan had hoped to bring in Omar Orodion during this summer transfer window, but the player had already reached an agreement with Porto.
Moretto wrote on his personal social media: "At the end of August, AC Milan made initial contact regarding Omar Orodion, but the Spanish forward had already reached an agreement with Porto. The Milan club looked into his situation but found no room for negotiation. Porto paid €15 million for 50% of the player's rights." After joining Porto, Orodion has excelled, appearing six times for the team and scoring seven goals.
