Al-Riyadh signs former Brentford goalkeeper Angelini on a free transfer

Saudi club Al-Riyadh has officially announced the signing of former Brentford goalkeeper Vincent Angelini on a free transfer. The two parties have agreed on a two-year contract.

The 20-year-old Vincent Angelini came through the youth academy of Celtic and later played for Watford before transferring to Brentford in January 2023. During his time at Brentford, Angelini never made an appearance for the first team. After his contract expired this summer, he left Brentford and eventually joined Al-Riyadh.

In his career so far, Vincent Angelini has been called up twice to the Scotland U21 national team, although he has not yet made an appearance.
