Official announcement: Lillestrom head coach Jorgen Lennartsson has joined Manchester United's coaching staff as a first-team assistant coach.
The 42-year-old Lennartsson has been the head coach of Lillestrom since January this year and will become a new member of Erik ten Hag's coaching team. Earlier, Lennartsson served as the caretaker coach of Malmö in his home country of Sweden and has extensive coaching experience in England, having worked at Brentford, Arsenal, and Southampton.
After joining Manchester United, Lennartsson will work alongside first-team coaches Steve McClaren and Darren Fletcher for the newly assembled team.
