Galatasaray coach: Zaniolo's intention is not to continue staying with us

According to AS, Galatasaray head coach Buruk revealed in an interview that Zaniolo currently does not intend to stay at Galatasaray.

Last season, 24-year-old Zaniolo was loaned to Aston Villa by Galatasaray. It is reported that after this loan period ends, Zaniolo is considering a return to Serie A. Buruk told reporters, "Over the weekend, I was in Italy, and there I happened to meet representatives of Zaniolo's (agency team). Zaniolo's idea is not to continue playing for Galatasaray."

"Of course, I hope Zaniolo can rejoin our team, as he is one of our players. Maybe, in the end, he will stay."

In recent transfer rumors, Zaniolo has been linked with Villarreal and Atalanta. AS pointed out that the Galatasaray management is actually prepared to negotiate the sale of Zaniolo during the summer transfer window, with an asking price of at least 30 million euros plus bonuses.
