Paris 2024 Olympics Women's Basketball Draw
The draw for the women's basketball event at the Paris Olympics has taken place. China's women's basketball team has been drawn into Group A, along with Spain, Serbia, and Puerto Rico. The Paris Olympics women's basketball competition will take place from July 28th to August 11th.

Group B: Canada (5th), Nigeria (12th), Australia (3rd), France (7th)
Group C: Germany (19th), USA (1st), Japan (9th), Belgium (6th)
Format of the Paris Olympics Women's Basketball Tournament:
Group Stage:
The 12 teams are divided into 3 groups, with each group consisting of 4 teams. The group stage consists of round-robin matches, with each team playing 3 games. The top 2 teams from each group, along with the 2 best third-placed teams, advance to the knockout stage, while the remaining 4 teams are eliminated.
Quarterfinals:
According to FIBA's official basketball rules, the advancing teams are seeded into 4 brackets based on their group stage performance (Bracket D: 1st and 2nd from each group; Bracket E: 3rd and 4th from each group; Bracket F: 5th and 6th from each group; Bracket G: 7th and 8th from each group). During the quarterfinal draw, teams from Brackets D and G are drawn against each other, and teams from Brackets E and F are drawn against each other. Teams from the same group in the group stage cannot face each other in the quarterfinals. The 4 eliminated teams in this stage will be ranked 5th to 8th according to FIBA's official basketball rules.
Semifinals:
The 4 winning teams from the quarterfinals advance to the semifinals (1st to 4th place). Teams from Bracket D that win in the quarterfinals cannot face each other in the semifinals.
