5 Premier League Transfers to look out for before deadline day
Giovanni Reyna (Borussia Dortmund to Nottingham Forest)
Nottingham Forest are looking to add Borussia Dortmund’s young American, Giovanni Reyna, on loan until the end of the season, according to Fabrizio Romano. The 16th placed Premier League side currently have 10 players out injured or at the ongoing Africa Cup Of Nations and are in desperate need of reinforcements.
Reyna currently finds himself on the fringes of the Borussia Dortmund first team. The 21-year-old has made just two starts for the German club this season, with an additional 11 appearances as a substitute. His playing time has been limited, partly due to a series of injuries that saw him miss the opening month of the season.
While Forest seek to enhance their attacking options, the club is not without its challenges. Earlier this month, the team was referred to an independent commission over a breach of the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability regulations. The outcome of this process could potentially result in consequences such as points deductions or fines for the club.
