Cremonese Coach Stropa Prepares for Italian Cup Clash Against Roma

According to reports from Italian media outlet RomaPress, Cremonese's head coach, Stropa, discussed the upcoming Italian Cup match against Roma. Stropa admitted he doesn't dare to have high expectations but mentioned that the team is prepared to give their best.

In the previous season, despite being relegated from Serie A, Cremonese managed to eliminate Roma from the Italian Cup with a 2-1 victory in the away leg. They followed this up with another 2-1 win against Roma in Serie A. Facing consecutive defeats to Cremonese, Mourinho faced scrutiny. In the Serie A match, Mourinho received a two-match ban and a €10,000 fine for insulting the fourth official Sera.

Now, the two teams are set to clash again in the Italian Cup. In a pre-match interview, Stropa shared his thoughts on the game, stating, "For Cremonese, this is undoubtedly an important match. On a beautiful stage, we will do our best and choose the most competitive team for the moment."

"Facing Roma again, I don't dare to have too many expectations, but we have prepared as best as we can for this match. Although we will give our all, it is clear that, in any aspect, Roma is not on the same level as us. In this game, we will not change our style of play," added Stropa.

Acknowledging the significant gap in strength between his team and Mourinho's side, Stropa encouraged his players not to fear the opponent. "We will enter the field with the utmost respect and humility, needing more attention because facing Roma is an excellent opportunity to showcase ourselves," concluded Stropa.
