Kim Min-jae elected as the 2023 Korean Footballer of the Year
Not long ago, the Korea Football Association announced that defender Kim Min-jae was elected as the 2023 Korean Footballer of the Year. Subsequently, Bayern Munich officially congratulated Kim Min-jae.
The Bayern official website stated: "Congratulations, Kim Min-jae! The Bayern center-back has been voted as the Footballer of the Year in his home country of South Korea. The Korean Football Association announced this news on Tuesday morning. Last summer, Kim Min-jae transferred from Napoli to Bayern Munich, and he won the Serie A title with Napoli. The 27-year-old player has made 22 appearances for Bayern so far this season (contributing 1 goal). Kim Min-jae will join the South Korean national team for the Asian Cup in the coming weeks (January 12 to February 10 in Qatar)."
