Saudi Arabia is expected to submit a €400 million offer to Real Madrid in the coming days to acquire Vinicius Junior
According to a report by *AS*, Saudi Arabia is expected to submit a €400 million offer to Real Madrid in the coming days to acquire Vinicius Junior.
Previously, it was reported that a Saudi Arabian investment fund had already contacted Real Madrid in an attempt to sign the Brazilian forward. However, Real Madrid firmly rejected the approach and made it clear that they are not willing to enter into any transfer negotiations for the player. According to Vinícius' recently signed contract, his release clause is set at €1 billion, and the contract runs until 2027.
Nevertheless, sources have revealed that Vinicius Junior has not entirely dismissed the possibility of a potential offer, as he has not yet received a concrete proposal. The Saudi side hopes to use this deal to further enhance the international status of the Saudi Pro League and position Vinicius Junior as an ambassador for the 2034 World Cup. A formal offer from Saudi Arabia is expected to be submitted to Real Madrid in the coming days, which could potentially become the most expensive transfer in football history.
Although Vinicius Junior has a strong loyalty to Real Madrid and is very happy at the club, he is also open to considering any possible offers. The Saudi investment fund is reportedly preparing the most lucrative contract ever for Vinícius, potentially worth over €1 billion over five years.
After securing Kylian Mbappe and witnessing the rise of Jude Bellingham and Endrick, Real Madrid remains cautiously optimistic about Vinicius Juniors' future. Meanwhile, the Saudi side is actively pushing for negotiations with Real Madrid, aiming to bring Vinicius Junior to Al-Ittihad in Jeddah.
